My forefather Arent Roggeveen obtains the rights to publish a sea atlas, the first of its kind in the Netherlands. It is called the Burning Ven and is published in  1675.

The following map is a chart from Arent Roggeveen which is kept in the Library of Congress, Geography and Map Division that  covers all of Long Island, along with New York Harbor and the Coast of Connecticut.
